Help please

We were workin on my buddy's ranger today and my keys were in his seat, well another guy thought they were his and tried to start it with my key. He has a 2001. Now his truck wont start or anything. The manual said a "no start" condition. How do we fix this?

Hopefully you don't have to get the keys reproggrammed, it cost me $180 per key i believe.

Damn... you got ripped O.F.F.!!!!

I paid $50 for my dealer to cut AND program my PATS key. That was before I found the second factory key under the dash inside the remote starter box.... Otherwise I could have programmed it myself. I paid $8 for a key on ebay.

I paid $26 a year ago for the cutting and reprograming so the $180 is way too much !
