help please!!!

As usual nobody sent me instructions and I need some help on this one. Just got my new halo projector foglights...look awesome. Anyways they are slightly complicated...but not that badly...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-05...spagenameZWDVW

on that link you can see a pic of its wiring...it has an adapter to plug directly into the stock wiring...but then it has a misc red and black wire on the back too...my best guess is power and ground...but what for and where would i hook it up to?

please help if you know!!!!

ok so i opened up the headlights and on the side marker there is a brown and black wire...are you saying i should splice the brown and conect the red to it and then splice the fog wire and connect the black fog to it? that doesnt make much sense to me

why doesnt it..a ground is a ground it doesnt matter where you put it..the power to the side marker makes the " HALO RING " light up when your not using the fog lights..and have just your headlights on then your fog lights turn on when you flick the switch..how doesnt it make sense?

well it makes sense now when you say it that way lol

ok so i should splice them then...correct?....otherwise i wont have a halo but only have the center bulb ready

im just wondering because im running out of time today and i might need to just install them now and finish the wiring later

you dont have to wire them right away..just install what you have and worry about the halos when you have time..cause if it was me id run the ground up there too..no point in rushing..if you have any questions feel free to PM me!

yeah i'll get some pics of it tonight when everything is hooked up. And today I'm gonna buy some silverstar H3 bulbs for them, cause like i was saying yesterday...they aren't white

but even with them off, they look sweet on the truck

and just to make sure im doing this right....i connect (splice) the red wire off the new fog to the positive stock fog power...and the new black fog ground to the stock fog wire ground...which i believe is also black

that makes more sense to me then going to the side marker, because the red and black wire is only like 6 inches long and it would never reach...

ok so i just tied the red and black wires off the halo to the power and ground to the stock wiring...and guess what?

now when you turn the lights on whether its just parking lights or full lights...both the halo and projector stay on

aren't they suposed to stay separated?

Connect the halo power wires to the turn signal/side marker circuit. Connect the foglight circuit to the stock foglight wiring. That way when you turn on the parking lights/headlights, the halo's will come on. When you turn the fog lights on using the stock switch, the foglights will come on.
