HID Fog Questions

Okay so as a few of you know i recently converted my headlights to 6000k HID.. which was the GREATEST thing ever.

Now I want to do my fogs to 3000k so i get the blue and yellow look like FX4wannabe01 has done and some others i am sure..

What i want to is this:

Is it straight plug and play like the headlights?

Will my stock switch properly power them?

Are they any precautions i should take or things i should look into first?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Stright up plug and play. Should be. you know how the stock headlamp plugs plug into a set of wires which go to the ballast? Well that connection will likely have to be cut and butt connected/crimped together for the fogs. The stock plug and the hid plug will not work together. One has 1/4" spades and the other has round or flat small tiny spades....plus the housing that the spades are in do not work together. At least that's how my kit was like.

No problems with powering them.

Find 9145 bulbs. Direct swap into your housing. 9005's fit, but not that well, and well...to be honest, it's a pain to make the 9005's fit.

Once again...left the camera in my work locker, so no pics for now. Still...keep an eye out for my bump of the hid how-to thread...likely tomorrow morning afterwork.

I would also like to know ballast mount points that would be awesome.

I appreciate. I think the blue/yellow look you have is amazing.
