I have a 1997 ranger XLT , 4x2 standard Cab with power locks and windows that I purchased years ago. How can I tell if it has keyless entry? I read that there is a module to look for that's either located under the dash or near the rear kick panel on the drivers side? . Where would that be and what would it look like on a 1997 ford ranger?

You can go to your local Ford parts department and have them look up your vin number. They should be able to tell you if your truck originally came with a key fob.
