Hey guys,

Just picked up an 07' Ranger with 63k mi. and one of the first issues I'm having is turning the dome light on...The light turns on when the doors are open but to not have a switch on the light to turn it on manually is just absurd.. Is there something I'm not seeing here or perhaps there's a fix for this?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a "dimmer" switch to the left of your steering wheel on your dash?

It might be a roller switch that adjusts the brightness of your cluster lights.

Push that all the way up until it clicks.

I might be wrong due to the differing years of our trucks

 

Thanks Taylor, I'm going to have to check it out when I get home. I was thinking there had to be something, would be ridiculous to only have the dome turn on when the door is open haha

I have problems with my dimmer switch, if it isn't all the way up and you open the door while the engine is running, the interior dome light flickers...any ideas?
