Hummer Wheels

i found some Hummer Tires.. 37x12.5 on 16.5" Hummer wheels..

they wernt a bad price, 2 questions though...
1) could i fit 37x12.5" tires under my truck w/ only a 3" body lift?
and
2) how much different is the lug pattern? has anyone seen an adapter for them?

p.s. mb they were 36x12.5?

-Matt

you might have to recenter the wheels. My best friend's brother wants to put hummer wheels on his 97 250. Even with his axles he'll have to recenter the wheels.

And ay adapters that I've seen for just a 5 to 6 lug conversion will run you about $500, no joke.

They will not fit. Best thing to do would be buy a lifted 3/4 or 1 ton truck and bolt them up

I think what he means is that the axles on the Hummer don't have protruding hubs, and the center hole on on the Hummer wheels won't fit over your hub-centric center ring. You'll have to have the centers of the wheels bored to your wheel hub ring size.

HMMWVs do have the center hole, quite a big one at that....Now those tires on a Ranger...no way w/o breaking stuff.

I had the same 8 lug pattern on my SUburban C20 as a Hummer. It had floating hubs though. I had a 16 bolt rear in it with a detriot locker hooked to healthy 454BB and 3L80 trans.
