I installed my CB, but have questions on my PA??? With pics!!!

Hey everyone, I finally got around installing my CB & got it for free & a PA off of a fire truck. Well I need to try & figure out how to work this lil buger. lol

Here are the pics of the install & what I need help w/...

Ok, now this is the part that I need help "installing" if you will. This plug into the back of the CB in the "PA" location. I am needing to know how to connect the wire to the silver plug thing...

Here's what I have now, I'm using speaker wire...

And the PA...

Does that speaker wire come out of the PA? There has got to be some way for the PA to receive the CB's output. As for putting that plug on, can't you find some way to take it apart and get a better look at it? I think that sort of stuff is pretty easy once you find the contacts.

*cough*ghettorig*cough* lol ??

is the speaker wire spliced into the cable coming out of the speaker itself? I had to rig mine because it wasn't long enough but i can't remember what i did. Also, why don't ya put it behind the grille like I did? You'll be able to hear it 100x better...under the bed facing forward is gonna be a mud magnet, that speaker won't last too long.

looks like a minature plug
you should be able to unscrew the cover
then there will be two contact points
one the outside or ground and the other the inside or positive
you will have to solder on the inside, there might be a spade or prong to solder to
make sure the two sides or polarities do not touch
oh yea, common mistake - feed the wire through the ferrule after you uncrew it it
this way when your solder connections are done you slide it down the wire and screw it back on
good luck
