I suck at opening headlights and corners

I've been trying all day to get these corners open. They are a spare set of TYC's that actually came on my 2003 when I bought it used. I took these off this morning (they were in rough shape) and I put some OEM corners on that I had removed when I bought my blacked out corners for my 2004.

First I tried to put them in the oven after it was warmed up to 200 degrees F. I let them sit for 20 minutes. No luck - tried pulling them apart gently and it wouldnt budge. I put them back in, for another 15 minutes and upped the temperature to 250. Results were that it got really soft and sagged onto itself. I pulled them out when I saw they were very sagged and it came apart with one pull, while I was pulling it was so soft that it nearly folded on to itself.

The other corner I tried 215 degrees for about 15 minutes. It didn't melt, but I tried to gently pull it apart and it cracked. Tried on another area and cracked it again.

Problem is I need what it takes to get these corners apart, because I'm trying to do a many-LED PCB retrofit on the corners. I also want to do the headlights.

I don't know what to do.

My plan was to buy 2 sets of everything, and ruin one set for the lens, and ruin the other set for the body. Then after wards marry the good body with the good lens.

I'm really stuck here.
