the airbag itself is easy to take off. remove the cruise control pods if you have them then on each side of the steering wheel there are 2 "caps" remove them and the bolts behind them then the bag will be loose and ready to disconnect the electrical

i didnt need to take off the air bag. now i got a new one and now with the stock oem anti theft the **** wont start cuz its not programmed to the keys. so pretty much i'm screwed and now i'm trying to find a way around it so i can atleast drive my truck. and ford dealers wont do it because i have a 2000 and they dont do it for 2000's anymore. the leastest models they do now is mid year 2001. so i'm pulling my frikin hair out

. might just do a toggle switch i just need to no what wires i need to do so and skip around the anti theft
