Jump Starter Question.

I've seen them on police cruisers. But its a permanent plug u attach In your grille and to your battery and the other half that plugs in has jumper cables on it.

Anyone know what these are called, and where I can get them.

We use those for the FD as well. They're worth their weight in gold and you never know when you're going to need 30ft of jumper cable!

That's a pretty handy deal.

I could see that worth the money.

I don't. How hard is it to pop the hood and stick the clips on to the battery. Not worth 100 bucks for me.

If you are unable to position your self with the jumper battery next too the vehicle that needs jumped.

Seems odd, but I have been in that situation before. Had to push the other vehicle so we could get to it.

I could see it in that situation, but I never am so pointless for me personally.

I work at autozone, and our little jumper box is only good for 3 or 4 jumps before its dead. Some people come in get there batt. checked. see the new batt price and are like" nah ill roll with this one" lol and once the jump box is down we use our cars and mine is nice and compact and easy to maneuver. Plus the jump pack dosent have enough juice to jump anything bigger than a 6cyl

Ah that makes sense, the one local to me has this whole jumper cart thing, not just one of those little boxes.
