just did the blinker mod

well im on spring break, its snowing like crazy out, its cold, and i decided to do the blinker mod.
lets just say i was a little bored.

it came out well and was a fun little project. im now going to sit in front of the woodstove to warm my hands up.

^, ya you have to get out in the middle of an intersection to appreciate it

now im letting this battery charge...it was having a bit of trouble BEFORE i did the work, and of course i disconnected the battery before doing any work, but i think letting the lights blink for a long time in this cold killed my battery...o well...theres already a bunch of snow falling so i dont think im driving anywhere for a bit.

takes the 98-00 corner marker and uses it as a directional in addition to the large "wrap-around" directional underneath.

with the mod you get 2 cool outcomes,
with your parking/headlights OFF and using a directional, the side marker and original directional flash together.
with your parking/headlights ON and using a directional, the side marker and original directional flash alternating.
its pretty cool and an easy little project.

here ya go, its hiding over in the how-tos

https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=17843

tis a pretty straight forward one, and gives a cool, subtle outcome.
