Where is a really good spot that I can tap into the keyed ignition as in I get power when the key is on? The only reason I am asking is because it needs to be a kinda big wire for me to tap into. Nothing small. Even better if the wire is under the hood. Thanks guys and galls.

 

No input guys? I know its only been like 30 minutes but I got something I would like to get up and going today on the truck.

 

what are you trying to wire up?

 

If you are trying to wire up something with a large load then use a relay. Use the key on power to trigger the relay and just run a wire to the battery for constant power.
