Power mirror problem
Hey. I've looked all over the interwebs and many forums, including here, and I've found really nothing that can relate to my problem.
I recently bought a new factory driverside power mirror to replace the one that the previous owner had on there because 1. it had a broken motor, and 2. it was a totally different, not Ford Ranger mirror
I put this mirror on today but first I tested it to see if it worked alright by plugging it in before bolting it down. Everything worked fine: it moved left, right, up and down. So I bolted it to the door and everything was good until I got the interior door panel back on. After the panel was back on, the driver mirror would only move left and right, not up and down. The passenger mirror worked just fine (all 4 directions.) I have no idea why or what would happen or make a difference [in wiring?] after the door panel was on. I checked the fuse and that wasn't the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
