Lift for a 2004 Ford Ranger 4X4 FX4 SuperCab, is it possible

I have an 04 4X4 ranger supercab, and i went to ask about a leveling kit or lift kit, body or suspension and was told there is no such thing for something that new. when i found your site you all talk about them like it was air never ending. what is the deal, cause i really wnat to just bring the nose up on my truck to be a bit more level with the rear end. the one thing i would really like not sacrafice is the 5 year extended warranty. note i never said that to the 4WheelParts guy so that couldn't be the reason for not finding a kit for my situation. right? any help would really be appreciated. thanks.

for lift:
4 inch superlift
5.5 RCD lift, coil over conversion
3" PA body lift

If you go under the truck and find where the torsion bars mount to the frame there is a bolt on each side. All you need to do is crank them, that is tighten them. Then just crank until you have the desired hight on both sides. And make sure it is level. Then just take it and have the front end alligned. Oh and one more thing the drivers side bolt i generally shorter then the passenger side bolt so crank the drivers side first. And if you want more info then just type the topic into the search thing, there is tons of threads about this subject.

I dont think it will void the warrenty but you could always just call the dealer and ask them. I cranked mine and they never said anything to me about it.

You do need to get an allignment. If you dont you are going to ruin your tires and it wont handle right. My self i think it is better to pay 40.00 dollars for an allignment then hundreds for new tires.

my truck also has the torsion bar crank...it gets the job done...

note...this is important....for your truck, since Ford is dumb, you have to buy a camber/caster kit, which costs around $100, before you can ever get your first alignment....

then after that it's $40 per job....trust me....my truck's been slammed and then now lifted....

My truck didn't even need a camber caster kit and even if it did the allignment shop said it would only cost about 10 dollars.

I need to update my pics, but this has a full 2" on the front, I added a leaf spring to the back. I never understood raising the front to level the truck.
