Casper: he sold it... I was gunna tho.

Everyone else: the insurance money paid off the loan, plus 200. So what I have sitting in my bank account is what I have to work with. I have to have some money to get by till I find work. And actually, I'm getting neither of those. I'm taking the advise of waiting till I got enough to get what I really want... Which may be a while...

well, at least you no longer have any debt. that's the plus. could you take that 2500 and get a deal on a 2010? i kno you'd be getting into debt again but at least it's 4wd and no worries for 3 years.

No, I dont want a 2010. I want an '02-03 FX4 Off-road or L2. and I need to know that I can pay it off. I dont want to get it re-po'd or screw my credit.

how does it get old? i see driving a truck like my moms TBSS or Monte Carlo SS being annoying cuz theyre to "pretty"...but a sas'ed rig is fun. oh well, different folks, different strokes.....or however that goes

For most of this thread I've just been talking out of my ***. I wont settle for anything less than what I know I need unless someone heavily advises it. If I am considering something that doesn't meet my requirements, I ask people till I get a "YEAH DO IT" or "HELL NO!" lol It's been the general consensus to wait, I just needed to hear it from other people lol

at the end of the day, it's your vehicle. get what you want or you won't like it.

if you think you don't need an SAS, don't get it. if you know that you'll use the extra room that comes with a ext cab, get it. we can contribute, but you're the one dropping the coin and driving the rig.

Honestly, I want my last rig... 01-03, FX4 Off-Road, L2 or 4x4 Off-Road. with at least a 4" lift on 33's and black rims. If I somehow get the money to do the SAS, I'll do it, but I have my doubts. Coilovers on a SL will probably be all I get.
