Max tire size

What is the max tire size for a 97 ext cab 2wd? Stock just doesent look right but dont have 3 grand for a lift right now.

You don't need 3 grand for a lift. Spend a couple hundred bucks and a weekend, and get a body lift. Then you can run 33s.

I dont want a body lift I want to do it the right way and do suspension.

The truck just looks so wrong kind of sunk in the front. I want to get a good amount of clearance just for forest service roads. Nothing crazy just enough.

This question has more than likely been answered before, in fact there is a whole thread on it . Use the search bar. It helps a lot. A suspension lift shouldn't be 3 grand for a 97 2wd. A 2wd ranger should be able to go up an average forest road no problem

With the wheels and tires I want it is with install. The Service roads are not regularly maintained here.

Like I said in the PM get some aggressive tires and you should be okay. If the roads are really that bad a 4wd truck might be worth looking into if that's what you're really into.
