Thanks guys. I picked up the battery terminals & cable ends from Al & Eds audio for the top mount & Pep Boys for the side posts. Had the side post cable ends already but you can probably get the top mount monster battery terminals & cable ends cheaper on the internet..I just didn't have time.

2006 grille shell. About the only thing that I like thats different on the 06/07 Ranger. I've liked them since they 1st had them on the Tonka concept & then carried them over to the Super Dutys.

do you plan on the alternator pulley? I thought the 170amp alt makes the same power at idle as the stock alt. so the alt upgrade didnt do that much if you put on the power pulley right?

im curious to how it runs also. do you have an aftermarket water temp gauge?

I wasn't planning on any other pulleys. It seems to be charging just fine as per a volt meter, I'll know better when I install all the audio/video & then decide if I need the Alt. pulley. I setup the fan controller with an Infrared Temperature Gun but have no aftermarket temp. gauge. Seems to be running in the same range as with the stock fan.
I only drove the truck home so I really can't tell yet, I did fill her up with gas so we will see how the mileage goes. I'll also know better when I go up the same hills as I usually do on the way to work tonight.

Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner but I needed to verify my readings with another Infared Temp. gun from work. Something didn't seem right but the 2nd gun is reading the same as the 1st. What seems odd to me is when the thermostat opens, it starts opening @ 165?? Not sure when its fully open though. I always thought they had a 190-195 deg. thermostat. Monday I 1st set the fan by eyeing the temp. gauge in the gauge cluster...I know they aren't accurate but I needed a starting point. Once I did that I used the gun & found the fan coming on @ 205 deg. & going off @ 190 deg. & confirmed that today so I left it right there.
If anyone can confirm what theirs runs @ with the stock fan I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Rick
