I need to replace the motor mounts, but at least the motor is out. My question is, can the circled piece come out with the three bolts holding it in, or is it also welded to the frame? Looking online, it seems as if everybody undoes the front suspension to get access to the bottom nut. What a crappy design.

 

I got my answer. That piece does indeed come off. Shame I have to do it twice, since I don't know how the mount was oriented in there. Unless I can look at my other truck and get the orientation. Worth a shot.
