Mounted my C.B and P.A speaker
I finally got around to buying a C.B. and P.A for my truck.
I just got it all wired in and mounted.
Here are the pix.

looks good, but id think about remounting that speaker in the engine bay somewhere, cuz your not gunna be able to hear it that well with the tannue cover and its gunna be loud as hell in the cab
ya, i wasnt sure where to put it and i was worried about feed-back if i put it in the engine bay. I may remount it in the engine bay, but it works for now. Its actually pretty loud where it is now.
A few things.
Engine bay for the speaker, no question. I have a 100 watt speaker in my grill and I don't get feedback. I think your 8 watt PA will be jsut fine :)
You need to redo that power wire. It appears you have the + wire shoved right into an empty fuse slot and there is no inline fuse. You need to use the proper connector to plug into the fuse box and you need an inline fuse no less than 1' from there.

What i did with the fuse was basically cut a fuse in half and sedared (SP) the wire to it. it plugs in very nicely and is not "shoved" in there. there is a fuse on the power line so i dont have to worry bout that.
