I have had a Viper 160 XV Remote Start system in my truck for close to 3 years now. Well the other night one of my buddies was screwing with my remote and I have no idea what he did to it. Well today I went out to start my truck and it doesnt even try to start. It doesnt turn over or anything. I have tried to start it with both the key and the remote but neither works. Any help is appreciated with getting it to start.

 

Only screwed with the remote? Not the wiring?? Is it an alarm as well as remote start? maybe the alarm is activated with has a starter kill and will not let the truck start.

I would try disconnecting the battery for 1 hr to reset the remote starter(alarm??, might not work if its an alarm too) and see if it will start after that.
