I cannot seem to find what this is so I can fix it. Anyone have a clue?

^^^^^ correct, just replace it I think it cost me 35 bucks. Theres a thread about it on here somewhere.

ok.. where is it? I have a 2001 4.0 dohc edge.. anyone have a pic? I am leaving for vaca in a week and tried the search but there are quite a bit of post for it.. none that I could find that just explain how to fix it.. What would be the outcome if I keep driving it??

Do a search for DPFE sensor and you will find the thread also has pics. If I remember right its right in front of the intake. I drove with my cel light on for atleast 6 months before I fixed it so you will be fine if you wait to fix it.
