Oil Pressure Problem

Heres what happened...

Had the truck in 4x4 High while driving normally for the snow for about a half hour. The oil pressure gauge was flipping out going up and down really fast in a staticy motion. It seemed if i left off the gas it would go down, then if i hit the gas it would go up. Got home, and the next day took it around the block without in 2wd and everythings dandy. Just recently it started doing it again (not in 4x4 anymore) and now my oil pressure gauge is all the way down in the red, not going up whatsoever. So i went and replaced the oil/ oil filter... nothing.

Some help?

Its a 2000 4x4 Ranger XLT
Raised 7 inches
35's
Royal Purple Synthetic Oil

And ill get around to taking pics of the truck and doing a proper introduction :) Thanks for the help
