got my over head console yesterday so today i installed it all the wireing went fine expect for the vss wire what color is the wire i hook that wire to coming out of the box bechind the radio??

yeah i don;t have the grey and black wire

ok i tour all of them wire out looking for the wire and it says its the the black connector well all of my connctors are grey i looked for like a hour for that wire its not their well not bechind the dash any way

 

It is there, look again. All OBDII PCM's have them.

Do you not have the GEM module behind the radio?

John's How-to has pictures of a 2001~2003 Ranger dash. Your GEM is different and has 4 connectors. Look in the 18 pin connector to find the gray wire with black stripe.

If your truck has Rear ABS only, the GY/BK is at pin 1; if it has 4WABS, the GY/BK is at pin 9.
