over head console install

ok so i have searched alot and got some usefull info on how to install this piece and it seems i should be able to do it tomorrow. my one question is where on the donor vehicle can i get the temp guage/pick up? i didnt get to grab that cause i didnt know where to get it. i also need to grab the mounting bracket also.

so my question is where can i get the temp part that i need near the front of the truck.

also there is another OHC at the junkyard that i will be going back to tomorrow if any one wants me to grab it i will as long as ur going to pay for it.

the temperature gauge will be on the drivers side, at the very front of the vehicle

look directly behind the headlight on this side. It should be mounted between the headlight and grille assembly (I think that's the piece). Look at John Griggs' cardomain how-to to give you an image of the probe you're looking for. If I recall correctly, this is the only probe on that side of the vehicle. It has 2 blue wires, 1 with a white stripe and one with a yellow stripe. The hard part for me with the donor I found was accessing the wire loom so that I could get enough feeder wire off of the probe so that I could rewire.
