Icon5 over head console quit working

iv had it hooked up for 3 mouth till the display started tern off for a week and the com back on for a week and go off ect. then it never came back on i should tryed to figure it out before. maby a little helpfull. but never had a chance to mess with it. i have already took it apart trying to see if it was the the digital display had low resistance. but im only guessing here. also posible it could be the temp sensor. (( if any body could help me out with what the range of resistance it should be getting from each wire))) ohh I HAVE A 2000 RANGER AND I TOOK OHC OFF A 99 EXPLORE. OR idk if i hade the wrong guage of wire let me know what you guys used. im going to take apart side panels and retest the voltage of all conections. please help

That would be the first thing to check, are you getting voltage at the connector, depending on how you made your connections they may have come loose.

On any electrical wiring, ditch the crimp type connectors, and use solder and heat shrink, as connectors can wiggle loose over time, and cause a short. Worse, an electrical fire if you did not use a fused circuit!
