i don't have a diagram, but there should be one plug that goes to the door latch. if you still have the old door, you could always pull your latch out and install it in the new door.

If you'd put a year and model of truck in your signature permanently, it'd help us all help you.

I changed the wiring harness with the one from the old door, and double checked my connections

A few questions:

Does your door ajar light come on? When its open and also when its closed.

Does your dome light have one of those switches that selects off, on, or door? (if it does makes sure its set to door)

Just a quick: did you replace your driver side door? If so how hard was it to disconnect the harness connectors (the 16 pin and that two pin connector). When I've ever had to disconnect the door harnesses it was always when my dash was being pulled. But I need to change out my driver side harness after I put my dash back on.

The door ajar light comes on intermittently, and its switch is either driver/on/passenger, I actually haven't had a chance yet but considering that its intermittent I believe that its a faulty door latch so I'm gonna take it out so I can test it. Thanks for all the help, I'll post what I find

Look at the harness connector on the latch. The retaining clip on the plug breaks very easily and can be loosely plugged in.
