Power Steering Leak

I have a leak from the spot in the picture. It seems to be from between the nut and the hose it holds in. There is a little play if i push or pull on the hose. Over the course of about a month, it had leaked out to about level with the nut/hose. It's not my daily driver and I only drive it once or twice a week. At the moment I'm just keeping an eye on it and topping it off when it gets low.

What is this hose called? And Is it that hard to replace? I can't imagine this end is, but after a quick glance, I didn't see the other end.

Fortunately there's no squeal. A little moaning when I limit out the steering in either direction.

i also replaced the whole pump. on that fitting there is a little Teflon washer. the only you can replace it is buying the hole hose kit for like 40 bucks. that washer gets chewed up pretty bad to the point there is nothing there. that is what is happening in your case.

Just ordered a replacement for like $7 and a replacement tailpipe. I would leave the pipe cut off at the muffler, but I want to be able to put my dogs in the back in the canopy. And having the exhaust go exit right in to the canopy is not very conducive to puppy breathing.

With shipping. $37 for the both.

Rock auto.

Got the hose in today. But I'm not sure that solved the problem. It looks like the leak might actually be between the big nut the hose connects to and the reservoir. Started it up to get the air out and all that fun stuff. Shut it off, then went to start a little later. And the battery is too low. Not up to jockeying cars around to jump it either. Drain pan under it to see if anything else leaks out, but the test drive will have to wait until tomorrow.
