Power steering pump pully stops rotating with a loud clunk. Pics included.

So the title kind of sums it up. Not sure if this is normal or not. The pully in question the the one directly below the power steering fluid reservoir. The power steering pump pully I presume.
At idle, this pully will intermittently start and stop rotating with a clunk that I can notice from the cab.

I don't know if this is normal or not but I'm paranoid after having PS problems on my old Jeep.

No steering performance problems that I've noticed.

On a probably unrelated note, my check engine light came on and the a P0128 code. All a/c and heat works great and no unusual temps according to the temp gauge on the dash.

Any thoughts?

The unit under the pulley in your picture is the air conditioning compressor. The clunk is the clutch on the front of it engaging and disengaging to maintain appropriate line pressure. Normal operation.
