2001 2.3L 2WD. I just replaced the entire front end suspension (upper, lower, tie rod in and out, shocks and coil springs) because I was getting a juttering while turning. Well everything needed to be done anyway but I still have the issue.

power steering fluid is murky brown but has never had a leak (fluid always spot on).

both ends of the rack and pinion looked fine while changing the inner tie rods.

should I replace the power steering pump (and fluid haha) first? I really don’t want to take off the tie rods again to replace the rack and pinion.

hoping someone had a similar experience and has some insight but my gut tells me replace the pump and new fluid.
