Preparing to rebuild 4.0l on 1999 Ranger - looking for literature

NOTE: Title says 3.0l, I meant 4.0l. I am also rebuilding a 3.7l Jeep Liberty engine right now and got confused with my numbers.

I have a 1999 Ranger that I inherited from my Father-in-Law last year. He appears to have filled the coolant system with straight water at some point (he was struggling with several cancers for the entirety of the pandemic) and at points he was not thinking terribly straight. Regardless, I have a compromised head gasket and coolant (water) leaking into the engine. I am preparing to pull the engine out and rebuild it, but I would love to see if I could find a softcopy of the factory service manual. Failing that I would be happy with specifically the 4.0l engine section as I like to torque stuff to standard, and I plastiguage everything so I need specifications on all kinds of stuff.
I haven't done engine work on a Ford engine before, but I have experience working on early 2000s Jeep engines. I have full softcopy factory service manuals that I purchased from Jeep way back when they did that that I found to be extremely valuable. If you know where I might purchase a softcopy (PDF) of the 1999 service manual, or if someone might share their or a portion of it, I would be eternally grateful.

Note: I see a number of sites that offer purchasable PDF factory service manuals, but I cannot validate the site or contents of those PDFs before purchase. I am not going to risk $15 dollars a pop to find the one that is legit. If someone has a recommendation for a site that is legit and has good PDF manuals I am down.

Also note: Is there a minimum post requirement to post in the Engine specific subforum? I got an error page saying I did not have permissions and my account might be locked, but apparently I can post in THIS forum.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I mentioned attempting to purchase $15-$25 softcopy versions of the manual and you linked an ebay sale for a hardcopy at $150. That is neither what I am looking for, nor is it cheaper.

To reiterate, I am specifically interested in a softcopy version (PDF generally) of the factory service manual. I see dubious sites that sell them for $15 or so, but I am not willing to take my chances throwing money at those sites potentially many times to find what I actually need. I did that once and got a PDF of a pornographic novel instead.

I pondered purchasing a hardcopy. Despite being a child of the era of books, I am much more interested in the softcopy manuals. I keep them on my tablet, I display them in negative view (e.g. white text and drawings on black background) because of eyesight issues, and I can have any number of manuals with me at any time if I have a need of them (e.g. ordering parts at the dealership), not to mention the ability to search the PDF (presuming it has been provided with text underlay). I live in a very humid part of Hawaii and have found that books in workshops tend to get soggy and mold pretty regularly.

So, would there be an accepted, valid, or verified seller of a PDF copy of the 1999 Ford Ranger Factory Service Manual? Alternately, would anyone have it that they might send to me. My Jeep service manuals are about 75MB apiece at 2000 pages and change. They aren't tiny, but they are pretty small in filesize.
