hi all.
i need some help identifying a pulley. i just pulled one off what was labelled a 1983 Ranger yesterday in a junk yard. i need a 2nd one for a non Ranger project. this was the only Ranger in this yard.


it was a 4 cyl engine. i believe it was on the power steering pump. it was high to the left as i was in front of the truck, looking at the engine.
it was not the conventional pulley for a flat belt. it was for a narrow V belt.
there was a matching pulley down low center to drive this. that one was mated to a 2 flat belt pulley but would not separate without distorting it.
the pulley i need is a shade shy of 4.25" diameter. it mounted with 3 bolts(each having a 10mm head). it has 1/2'(13mm) center hole. it probably is metric but i didn't have the rite tool to get those numbers.
all i see on Ebay or Rock Auto is the flat belt pulley.
i am wondering if this could have been a first year version that was changed by the second year.
has anybody got any info on this?
is this familiar to anybody?
maybe it wasn't the power steering pump in that location and that has me looking for the wrong part?
please, just some info to steer me in the rite direction.
