instead of going to a hardware store or stealership you can program your new key fob at home. this process is simple and only requires all the key fobs you plan to use and your keys. first thing you do is put the key i the ignition and turn it on and off 8 times. then you will hear your locks go up and down. leave the keys in the on position. then you want to click the unlock button on all of your key fobs. the locks will click each time your press the buttons once all of your fibs have been programmed then you turn your key in the off position and the locks will click one more time.

All previously programmed Fobs are erased after you cycle the key on and off 8 times, which is why you need to add ALL the fobs back
If you just add the NEW Fob then thats the only one that will work from then on

This is done so if someone steals or finds your lost fob, it can not be used if you have done the above reprogramming with remaining Fobs
