Reverse wire for 7 Pin connector

Hi all, i am finishing up my 7 pin harness/brake controller upgrade and just wondering how others have wired up the backup light wire in the harness. I know the Blk/Pnk wire in the cab is reverse, i used it for my backup camera, but is that also OK for reverse lights? I imagine backup lights will draw more power, possibly blowing the fuse? perhaps there is a better place to tap into the reverse lights than in the cab? Any advice is appreciated.

If you're talking about adding in auxiliary backup lights, I'd recommend utilizing a relay. Use the BLK/PNK wire as the relay control and run a separate fused power line to the auxiliary backup lights via this relay, that is if you want them to come on with the factory lights. Otherwise add a separate switch to control the relay.
