SCT XCalibrator 2 Tuner

I have an SCT I used on my Ford Ranger. Since it has been wrecked, I have no need for it any more. However, my friend has recently installed a 3650 5-spd manual in his Mustang. It WAS an automatic. I was wondering if there was any way to re-program my SCT and let him install a new tune for his car?

Any help is appreciated.

Jason

Assuming the tuner itself will work for the year of mustang, you may have a couple options.
Did you return the truck to stock before it was taken away? If so, you can clear the entire memory and unlock the tuner with livewire software. I did this when I sold my sport trac, and received tunes via email and loaded them up.
If not, you will likely have to send it in. Talk to an SCT tuner.

I used http://www.hensonperformance.com/ and he did a good job with the sport trac, but a crappy job on my F150. Nevertheless, he could probably answer your question.

Thanks you guys.
I may have to send it back since I didn't revert my truck back to stock. I should've since it got wrecked. But whatever. Oh well. The next person that gets that ECU will be pleased LOL.
I'll look into what needs to be done next week. Darn. Wonder how much they'll charge.
My buddy has a 99 GT with the 4.6 Windsor (the good one) motor. The tuner should work on that car.

Thanks again everyone.
