seven prong trailer plug???
If you can't do it yourself , go to U-haul.
Also , 7 prong plugs are only needed if you have to have trailer brakes.
And a good rule-of-thumb -- if it has tandem axles or needs brakes on the trailer , you might want to think about using a bigger truck.

What are the 7 Connections for ?
Shouldn’t be hard to put something together if your truck has the functions that the trailer connections requires, i.e. brakes, separate directionals, running lights, backup lights, etc.
Find out what is needed, what you have and work from there.

with a seven prong you can have trailer brakes, back up lights and also a charging circuit so if you have a battery system on your trailer the truck will charge the battery while youre driving. the seven prong plug is much more useful than the stupid 4 pin plug and it doesnt corrode like the 4 pin. i converted all my trailers over to the seven pin plug and spliced a seven pin plug into my trucks trailer wiring. its pretty easy to do.
The last time I purchased a 7 prong plug and jack, each package came with a wiring diagram. The 7 connections are each numbered and are: left turn/stop, right turn/stop, parking light, reverse light, ground, 12v battery and brakes. I removed one of licence plate light sockets from the bumper and put the 7 prong outlet in it's place. The hole in the metal bumper was the right size, but the hole in the plastic cover around this hole had to be enlarged a little bit. (this is on an '08)
