Should I change the o-ring on the PCV valve?
Hello All,
I am changing my pcv valve and was wondering how long do you all think an o-ring should last. I know that the straight away answer is to change it but that would cause me to drive out to the store and I am not that close for that to be convenient.
I have 115k on the original o-ring and it does not feel hard but it is not soft either. These are a bit of a PITA to replace so I don't want to do it again for a while. I have not noticed any leaking but at the same time don't want any unnecessary vacuum leaks.
Ok, I will just get an o-ring.
Happy 4th to all.

Hello All,
I got it replace and it is a bit of a PITA. The o-ring I got from ACE was a bit too big so I ended up using the old one. I will change it out next time and get one from the dealer so I can be sure it will fit. Unless someone may have the right size?
It seems to idle smoother once the PCM did a bit of learning.
Have a good holiday
