Hi guys, I'm rebuilding my '02 4.0 SOHC and will be putting the new chain tensioners in soon. My timing kit (pictured below) only came with one washer to go around a chain tensioner.. see the washer / o ring in the bottom left of this picture next to the rear jack shaft plug




In fact all the timing kits I can find seem to only come with one chain tensioner washer/metal o-ring. Why is there only one (there's two chain tensioners...) and which tensioner does it go on??

I replied to your other thread but will reply here again. During my recent timing chain tensioner replacement, I found the original front timing chain tensioner had a seal washer but the rear one did not. I don't have a clue as to why.
