went out this morn and its the first time in a looong time its been 50 something degrees..lol truck started right up but had a rough idle then dies....it will restart but have to hold foot on gas till it warms up then its fine..starts up and idles fine after it warms up...it did this once before when it was warmer outside but truck had set for like a day in a half....been through alot of the idle threads here and havent seen anything close to similar...what do you guys think it could be....I know the vac line on the vapor canister and PFV are dry rotted bad and i plan on replacing those soon but dont think thats the the prob...it also need a DPFE sensor and hose and thats on the way.

 

First try cleaning/replacing the IAC.
Then check the connection to the Intake Air Temperature sensor.

 

IAC was first thing I thought too. had the same issue on my contour SVT.

 

well i talked to a few very knowledgable folk in this field on here via phone..so i guess i can add seafoaming, pulling TB and cleanin the AIC, and MAF to my list of things this weekend..lol!! BTW truck has started just fine the last few mornings...guess its just of those things..lol
