3.0L ranger edge 2wd
so my battery was 10 years old neww battery. but i got s new start because it was all orignal off the factory and after having it tested is was oscillating a lot so obviously isnt good for my fly whell.
after install i rode it around the block for a road test. everything seemed fine. 6 hours later i made a lets say 10 miles little traffic and when i got home everything seemed fine turned off the car and hit up a ciggeratte. about 5-10 mins out of the car i hear a starter kicking on, assuming it was the neighbors POS car so i go out to help and it was my car the starter just stared kick constantrly, i put the key in my car(i have the chip in my key for antitheft) started the car where it was very rough and i idled to it calmed down. turned the car off and starter was still kicking!!!! so i removed my negative terminal. i just dont know whay my starter has a mind of its own.
my theory starter relay or maybe my negitive terminal isnt as tight as i needed i dont know no codes or engine light. plesae help me this is the weirdest job i have ever done and its on my own awesome truck.... HELP PLEASE ! utterbackcharles@gmail.com i cant waste time i need to figure this out.
