my emergency brake is very difficult to release its at the point of me standing out of the cab pulling the release handle & with my other hand yank up on the petal until its released...the cable doesn't seem to be snagging on any thing. what could be going on?

 

Well i had it where the breake wouldnt release even after the release lever was pulled. Get it checked out asap, mine was the ebrake cable. Buy time i got it checked out i had to replace everything on the rear end breaks drums shoes etc.
