Strange electrical things with my 2020 Ranger
Good day all.
My '20 is doing some strange things.
Started with my "merge warning" driver side mirror staying on all the time.
I got the warning on the dash that my merge warning system (or whatever it's called) was disabled. I can hit "OK" on the steering wheel to clear the warning.
Then, my fuel gage started acting up. I knew that I had 3/4 tank and with in ~10 miles, the warning bell sounded saying a had 50 miles to empty. Within a few more miles it said I had zero mile to empty!
For a time, the merge warning stuation went away. but now it's back.
If I Shut the truck off, the tank reading seems to go back to what it actually should be.
I have seen that "self correct" while driving.
Antone have any thoughts?
I kind of dread taking this type of intermittant issue into my local Ford dealer.
Thanks, Sid
