Swapping an Inline Fuse Link?
Good afternoon,
I took my 2002 3L v6 ranger in to have a cruise control issue diagnosed (the aftermarket steering wheel buttons don't work). The mechanic diagnosed the issue as being either the buttons or the in-line fuse link and recommended replacing both to test.
I know how to swap the steering wheel buttons and that's pretty easy, BUT I have no idea what an "inline fuse link" is and how tricky that would be to replace. The shop is wanting to charge $197 to replace the inline fuse link.
How tough of a job is this? if it's a pain in the *** I may just pay them to do it. Where is the "in line fuse link" anyway on the vehicle?
