Tail light socket and pigtail

Are the 2006 brake light sockets the same as the earlier 2 bulb set ups? Like 01-05?

And how many wires are coming out of the brake light socket on a 2006?

brake/tail/turn lamp socket and reverse sockets fit into the 06+...so i assume they are the same. 3 wires for the brake/tail/turn, 2 wires for the reverse.

yes its a 2 bulb setup , however you can add a 3rd socket with a dremel...

I know, I did that about a year ago

It's been a while but I do recall they needed some assistance, When I put in my reverse they actually didn't fit right into the 06s, a little trimming was necessary but nothing major.

Mine fit in perfectly. So did trevors, so did probably everybody else with 98+ taillamp harnesses.

Must be a 93-97 thing, I'm pretty sure Maurice gave me a heads up that the reverse hole would need a little notch cut out to fit the socket. So you think from 98 up the tail lamp harness are all the same?

Why does it show 3 bulbs for a 04-08 ranger?

And is number 7 the socket and pigtail for the brake light ya think?
