Thumping noise

Okay so my truck when driving when I let off the gas I get a thumping noise now this truck is just a work truck so I'm sure there's other things wrong with it a lot of the bushings on the front end or worn but this thumping noise is getting really bad and loud like I said when I let off the gas it happens also when I get into lower speeds around 20 will start doing it by itself but the problem is I can't tell because I'm always driving the truck where the noise is coming from exactly now when I looked at the transmission the other day the mounting bolts at totally back themselves out so I found some bolts put a nut on top of them and that's holding right now but also you here like a clanking clicking noise when I'm going slow and I hit the gas for the truck to engage to speed up and then I will go away and make like 5 clicking noises and go away and then I get up to some speed to let off the gas and Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump and then once I hit the gas again it goes away so on and so forth tell me what could the problem be thanks
