Just picked up an 85 with a 2.8 in it. The kid I got it from pulled all of the emissions sensors off thinking it would be better I guess. I've got a mechanical carb to put on it but am not sure what to do about the electronic timing. Isn't the timing controlled by the missing sensors? Can I put a vaccume advance distributer off an older 2.8 on?
