torque spec question?

torque spec question?

can someone please tell me the torque spec in ft. lbs for the front "hub nut" that holds the hub/rotor to the spindle?
2005 ford ranger edge 2WD.... thank you

I think on a 4wd its 164 or something like that. Not sure about a 2wd, if it's different or not.

It's not a lot. Also when you tighten it you have to back it off. I don't know the specs off the top of my head though.

My Haynes book says ~24 ft-lbs, back off a half turn, then up to ~16 in-lbs. Yes, that last part is INCH-lbs, not foot lbs. I just pull the socket off my torque wrench and make it finger tight.
