I can attest to that, it's not a specific insurance company down there. When I lived there, the lowest I ever paid was $200 a month. West Palm Beach is a very big city with a lot of people that cannot drive and there are accidents there everywhere you look.


On another note, why the heck would you have a $1000 deductible? That's crazy! Lower it for reason such as this $500 is the most I would ever have it at. $250 is where I've always kept it.

 

the reason i dont have a lower deductible is because my parents still pay for my insurance and i dont want to put that in jeopardy by asking for more from them

Not that it really matters, but I moved to Kentucky from Portland Oregon a year ago and my insurance actually went up when I moved, due to the amount of uninsured jackhole motorists here.
But if insurance really is that much more in Florida, thanks for giving me another reason not to move there! lol

 

hahaha trust me theres many reasons not to move here. its like the absolute best and worst place to live at the same time.

 

I got a buddy with a 09 WRX and when he lived here in VA it was 1300 a year to insure then he moved to Louisiana outside of New Orleans and it jumped to i think he said 12000 a year.
