Truck Problems Lately...

Hey guys a couple weeks ago I noticed my a/c took like 20 minutes to stop blowing hot air, now it hasn't done that since, but lately when I turn the a/c on the truck feels like i'm towing a house and becomes hard to turn.

What could this be?

Sounds like the compressor may be seizing.

You might want to get a serpentine belt for your truck "without AC". Sounds like you're gonna need one real soon. Pull the electrical connector off the compressor until you can get it looked at. That way, the clutch can't engage.

Thanks for the quick reply guys, gotta question though, it blows cold air while it feels this way, so the ac is working at the time. Does that still indicate the compressor seizing?
