Turn signals don't work 88 Ranger

Turn signals don't work 88 Ranger
New to site, any thoughts or remedies
I drove home with truck for my 16 y/o son. pulled into driveway, son pulled 4-ways to see how it worked..it worked for a second then stopped working including turn signals.
Bought a new flasher relay...checked fuses with no change with turn signals...the 4-ways work if you are diliberate with the switch.
How do you go about replacing turnsaignal/4-way switch?
