I seem to have messed up my screws on my 1985 ford ranger. They have a little ball on top and I can't seem to find them anywhere online. I'm new here (literally made an account just now to ask this) so hopefully I posted in the right channel. Help would be much appreciated!
Usually they are riveted on, not adjustable, so someone may have drill the 3 rivets out and install screws, usually self tapping
But they are called Choke Cover Clamp screws if you can find them
What size engine in your 1985 Ranger?
Always good to include that
My apologies, it's a 2.8L V6. I believe we're talking about two different things. They are the screws for the bracket that hold the choke thermostat in place.
Also there are Choke Housing screws, seen just below in diagram
I can't see finding these as part of 2.8l carb set
Best bet is to pull one out and hit a hardware store, find a nut with same threads then find the screws that are long enough that match the nut, so same threads as in carb body
If you are trying to order online not sure what to look for
1985 2.8l should have a Motorcraft 2150 2-barrel carb
Try Googling: motorcraft 2150 carburetor parts choke
